As we watch the seasons change without a struggle
As nature moves through each cycle with flow, grace, and ease
We are reminded of the gift of impermanence – that everything changes and nothing is permanent
We are intrinsically woven into the very fabric of the earth
And just like the weather and the weather systems of our lives
We are invited not to grip or resist, not to force or push – but instead to open, surrender and soften
To let be, to let go
Impermanence is a hidden gift, a wonderful treasure
It gives us the power to choose how we frame each moment
Each new minute a chance to begin again
To change our perspective
To give shape to our present experience
To know it is as valuable as the one before and the moments yet to come
Can we be the seeker of goodness in each new and precious moment
With each new breath that has never been breathed before
The gift that exists in simply being alive
We open to the freedom of impermanence with a gentle curiosity
Meeting each moment fully
Meeting each moment as a friend
We learn to find glimmers of beauty even within the midst of the storm
That all we have is now, and yet anything is possible
Knowing that there is a complete experience in every moment if we are just willing to turn towards it.
